If Only...

I tell myself that a lot nowadays. If only I had done this, if only I had said that. The biggest thing now is that Edgar is away a lot working and I have the If Only he would answer. What is he doing? Why didn't he answer? Those and a million other thoughts go through my head every time I call and there is no response. Sitting here today after one such call I found myself in tears.

His affair has taken its toll on both of us. I trust him or at least I tell myself that I do but then when I am alone I wonder. Did he not answer my call because he is with another woman? Does our marriage mean so  little to him? The affair came at a time when we were in a horrible place. I don't blame him, we were falling apart at the seams and neither took the time to notice. However things have improved so much. He had been trying so hard. It is difficult with him being away but I know he is doing what he needs to for our family.

The biggest problem is how to tell my heart that. Chance are he is simply working and too busy to answer or just didn't hear the phone ring. It happens. Yet every time I get voicemail (I don't mean I call a million times a day) it is like a knife in the heart. The wonder and the worry. If this is a test that God is giving me, I don't think I am passing it.

Most people wonder how I could take him back after an affair. The answer is simple: I love him and I want to believe he loves me. He didn't have to come back. He knows he could have left me without any argument or fight. It would have killed me but I would have let him go. He didn't though, he came home to me and our family. Through the years we have been through a lot.

I just needed to get all of that out I guess. He'll call later and my moment of weakness will be a memory.

Banana Bread

This week's recipe is a great Banana Bread Recipe. I love Banana Bread. I heat my slice back up just a little or cut it before it has completely cooled so that my butter will melt. I make this bread a lot during the fall months because to me there is just something soothing about it. ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas, smashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar (can easily reduce to 3/4 cup)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). With a wooden spoon, mix butter into the mashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool on a rack. Remove from pan and slice to serve.

Neat Buns with Whirl-a-Style

I wear my hair pulled back into ta bun a lot. Every morning I get up and pull out that rubber band and back the hair goes. It is just easier to keep it pulled out of my face. Usually what happens is the mass of curls gets tangled and I send an hour at night trying to untangle them. Whirl-a-Style changed all that for me. Now instead of the rubber band (that pulls out my hair) or that horrible claw clip (that gives me a headache) I use one simple small styler.

From Whirl-s-Style Website:
The inspiration and motivation for starting Whirl-a-Style was quite a serendipitous event. It took ingenuity and creativity to introduce Sonstegard’s next two innovative hairstyling product lines. The strength of Whirl-a-Style is in the actual device. This useful and easy-to-use tool allows the hair to be quickly pulled back into a French twist or a beautiful round bun shape without the use of any unsightly bobby pins or claw clips. Her next two haircare product lines; Klicinz and Poppi, were created to give upstyle hair designs an extra special touch by adding accessories, These were inspired by her clientele. Trademarked and patented, Whirl-a-Style remains the original, while all products are tools used to create various upstyle hairstyles for bridal parties, special events, dance recitals, ballet and festive occasions.

TESTING Whirl-a-Style:

I was sent the Jumbo Medium Whirl-a-Style which is designed for shoulder length hair. I started using right out of the package. I will say that it was a little tight at first but after I got the hang of it I was able to adjust my hair a little so it was snug without pulling on my hair. Using it was very simple. I use mine for buns only but there are a dozen different ways to use it. You can create any style you want with this little thing. I really like that I don't need a mirror to pull my hair back. this way when I am out and about in 100 degree weather and have to pull up my hair I don't look like I just got out of the bed.

PROS of Whirl-a-Style:

  • Comes in 5 different sizes so there is one for every hair type
  • Available in 12 colors so you can match it to your outfit
  • Doesn't tangle your hair
  • You can combine two or three. What ever it takes to achieve the hairstyle you are looking for.
CONS of Whirl-a-Style:
  • NONE. I throw this thing in my purse and it doesn't get bent out of shape or anything. I honestly haven't found a flaw yet.

New NurturMe Flavors

NURTURME ADDS TWO NEW FLAVORS TO ITS

AWARD-WINNING LINE OF CERTIFIED ORGANIC BABY FOODS:

Sweet Bananas” and “Crunchy Carrots”

AUSTIN, TEXAS,  September 2011—As Moms and CelebriMoms like Selma Blair, Tiffani Thiessen and Laila Ali continue to go gaga over NurturMe, the first and only certified-organic baby food made from quick-dried fruits and vegetables, the company has announced the introduction of two yummy new flavors: “Sweet Bananas” and “Crunchy Carrots.”
By quick-drying, rather than cooking, its ingredients, NurturMe preserves the vital nutrients and phytochemicals found in fruits and vegetables, making it one of the healthiest and most nutritious baby foods on the market.

Like NurturMe’s four original flavors—Plump Peas, Scrumptious Squash, Crisp Apples and Hearty Sweet Potatoes, Sweet Bananas and Crunchy Carrots are all-natural, gluten-free and have no added salts, sugars, colors or preservatives.  In addition, the fruits and vegetables used in NurturMe come from certified organic farms in the United States.

A revolution in feeding little ones, NurturMe is one of the most convenient and versatile baby foods available. Simply mix one of the palm-sized packets of NurturMe with breast milk, whole milk, formula or water – in any amount or combination – to get a meal that’s healthy, delicious and meets the nutrition and lifestyle needs of baby and mother. Designed for little ones from four months to four years of age, NurturMe packets may also be sprinkled (sneaked!) into foods like rice cereal, grains, purees, yogurts, apple sauce and macaroni and cheese to give them a delicious and nutritious boost. Recipe demonstrations may be found on NurturMe TV.

With each packet weighing less than an ounce, NurturMe provides a great way to lighten the diaper bag load, eliminating (finally!) the need to carry around heavy, inconvenient and wasteful jars of baby food.  Travel friendly, each NurturMe packet has a shelf life of 24 months.

NurturMe is as great for Mother Earth as it is for mom:  NurturMe’s packaging, which includes a carton made using wind energy, is recyclable, eliminating the need to worry about how to properly dispose of wasteful glass jars and metal or plastic jar tops.

NurturMe’s new Sweet Bananas and Crunchy Carrots flavors may be purchased at nurturme.com, Amazon.com, Diapers.com, BabiesRUs.com, Target.com, Babies “R” Us stores nationwide and select Whole Foods and Central Market stores. Each box of eight meal pouches sells for a suggested retail price of $9.49.

Romanicos Chocolate Review with Giveaway

YES!! More Chocolate, I seem to be on a chocolate kick here lately. I just can't seem to help myself. Romanicos Chocolate however is grown-up chocolate. It is not the standard milk or dark with a little something added. This is the chocolate that your kids will not eat because the flavors are more complex and require an older palate.

From Romanicos Website:

Romanicos brings you a well balance treasure with the rare combination of eye catching presentation with a delicious confections. The perfect combination for a memorable gift! We make a product totally by hand, not only with the finest ingredients available around the world but with a lot of care, everything in small batches so it gives us the opportunity to check each piece closely and watch all the details.

TESTING Romanicos Chocolate:

We received several items to tantalize our taste buds with. The first was a mixed cube that included 12 each of their Truffles, Chocolate Art, and Truffle Bites. The assorted flavors include everything from Passion Carmel and Tipsy Almond (Truffles) to Caramel Bliss and Hazlenut Joy (Truffle Bites) to Nutella Milk and Dulce De Leche Dark (Chocolate Art.) They were all so beautiful that I didn't want to take the out and eat them but in the end I justified by telling myself  that it was all in a good cause.

We also received some of their wonderful chocolate bars. We received two sizes: 40 gr and 80 gr bars. The flavors ranged from Mission Figs to Walnuts and Honey to Sea Salt and Soy Beans. Surprisingly the Sea Salt and Soy Beans was my favorite. There was just something about that perfect blend of chocolate with a little salt that made everything come together.

PROS of Romanicos Chocolate:
  • The chocolate is handmade and truly beautiful works of art
  • The taste is like nothing you have ever had before
  • You may want to dress up just to eat this chocolate. The quality is

    Lazoo Books Review with Giveaway

My kids love activity books. I love activity books that help them learn as much as keep them busy. Lazoo has just the kind of books we are all looking for. Lazoo is originally based on a series of best-selling Japanese children’s books. It has since evolved into a comprehensive lifestyle children’s brand and media property emphasizing novel design, individual expression, creativity, and above all, FUN!

    TESTING Lazoo:

Color the holes that look like baseball caps
We received three books to try out and the kids fell in love. First up was Holes. Holes is a coloring book that has you color various areas and holes on each page. When you color the holes and then turn the page what you colored becomes a new item. For small children this is such an enjoyment. They get so amazed when they turn the page and find what they helped create. For example you color some tires on a car but when you turn the page the tires have become ice cream on top of cones.

    The baseball caps become cars

The next book was Squiggles. Squiggles is a drawing book where kids can give sheep soft wool, make cars go faster, and add icing to a cake. They do all of this by drawing squiggles, any way they want to. The learn there is no wrong way to draw a squiggle.
    He wants curls too!

The third book we tested was Stickers. Stickers is an activity books that is filled with, you guessed it STICKERS! My daughter loves stickers so getting her to put them where they go in the book was a little hard. She likes to put them every where else. She puts them on the fridge, the mirror in the bathroom you name it. I really liked this book as well. It wasn't that same old put this sticker here and that sticker there book. You got to decide what "outfits" to create and stick.

    PROS of Lazoo:
    • They have a unique selection of books for children
    • The books are truly wonderful.
    • Your children will love doing the acitivites in the books and learn at the same time
    • Lazoo also has clothing and other items.
    CONS of Lazoo:
    • NONE

You can open it up with one hand.  On the website there is a customer review that is lees than stellar and I will you that I could not agree LESS with the customer who wrote the review.

She states that she is a 34DD. I am a 38 D and found that I was supported more than enough. What I found is that if you loosen the straps a little more than you normally would you get great coverage and support. The material felt wonderful! This gown has become my favorite. My Visitor

For the last few weeks I have had a weekly visitor to my home. She started coming and leaving some pamphlets and then asked if she could do bible study each week with me for about 30 minutes. She is an elderly lady and a little lonely I think. So I told her yes. She is after all harmless and 30 minutes out of my time each week is nothing.

She comes and we read her little book and talk about whatever we are reading. She has never asked me what religion I am or if I even attend a church. I am in NO way criticizing her religion so please no one take it as such. I am merely voicing an opinion. Most of what is written in her little book that we read I can agree with. There is no dispute, etc. The biggest problem I have is that while of course all religions feel theirs is THE religion, some of the things that is said about various religions is a bit offensive.

As you all know I make no excuse or apologies for the fact that I am Roman Catholic. My siblings have chosen other religions and I respect that. What I do not do is criticize their religion in any way. Maybe it is just that I look at the world differently. Yes my religion has had many scandals. It doesn't in any way make the religion itself wrong. Our church leaders are after all merely men, full of faults. We have thousands of years of dogma and traditions that many people don't understand and bringing a religion into this century is a long battle.

The other thing that bothers me is that my version of the bible gets criticized each week. I use a Women's Devotional Bible. It is a modern speech bible that is easy to read and understand. I do have a traditional Catholic Bible as well as a King James version. I simply choose to use a version that I can understand.

I think what she does, going out everyday, is to be commended. I just feel that maybe there are better ways to go about spreading the word. I guess I just feel that my beliefs and thoughts should be taken into consideration but if I try to bring them up I am quickly told that her religion is the only correct religion. What started as an enjoyably weekly visit has become dreaded. I am pressured more and more each to visit her church and change my ways. She tells how her religion accepts all people from all races but she preached to me about my interracial marriage after meeting my children for the first time. I got the age old Zebra reference and told that I was a sinner and my children are, well let's say less than Godly.

      Pudim de Abobora

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month here is a great fall recipe. It's Mexican Pumpkin Custard. I first had it when my mother in-law came to visit. It was so wonderful and now I am trying my hand at it.

      • 1/2 cup evaporated skimmed milk

      Instructions

      1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

      Flip Flop Wines: Moscato

By now you all know about our love affair with Flip Flop Wines.  If you are not familiar with Flip Flop Wines, allow me to introduce you.

      From Flip Flop Wines Site:
While working at an organic vegetable farm in the Mt. Shasta region of California, David discovered the art of grape growing. After planting a small vineyard on the farm, he was fascinated with wine, from managing the vineyard to tasting the fruits of his labor. Inspired to learn more, David attended the University of California at Davis first to study viticulture, and then added  wine making coursework as well. David honed his wine making skills at well-known California wineries including Artesa and Davis Bynum. In 2009, David began working on the wines that would become the inaugural vintage of flip flop. His goal is to stay true to each wine’s varietal character, and to make great tasting wines that don’t break the bank.

      TESTING Moscato:

We received the Moscato to try. We were not in any way disappointed. Like all other Flip Flop wines this one was more than we had imagined it to be. It is a light bodies wine that is best served chilled. I love cold wine much better than room temperature. I should say for all those who read my pregnancy posts that I have written: My doctor has told me that the occasional glass of wine will not hurt me or the baby. I don't drink all the time, maybe once a month if that. Now that is out of the way. Flip flop suggests serving the Moscato with Pad Thai, Chinese chicken salad or vegetable curry. We had it with Pozole which is a Mexican soup. It complimented the spiciness if the soup very nicely.

      PROS of Flip Flop Wines

      • Great price! The wines are less than $10 a bottle
      • They don't taste like under $10 wines! They taste like you spent a fortune
      • Every purchase helps a good cause

      CONS of Flip Flop Wines
      • None but please drink responsibly

      Baby Ready

I grew up with the disposable diapers, bleach, and all those other horrible chemicals. I never thought anything about it until the day I got pregnant. That moment changed everything! Now I am all about safe and natural. So to get ready for a new baby that will be sleeping in our bedroom posed a bit of a challenge. I didn’t realize all the harmful things that were already in my room. I went through the entire room which meant more work for my husband, but in the end it will be worth it. The ten biggest things we did were:

      1.     Get rid of everything that has lead paint. Our old dresser had been painted several times many years ago. I was fairly certain so of the paint underneath was lead based so hubby sanded down the entire dresser and repainted it with baby safe paint.
      2.     Bolt all heavy and/or large objects to the wall. We have a dresser, bookshelf, and more in our room. While the baby won’t be crawling right away I figured it would be better to go ahead and make sure none of these items could be easily turned over. I figure later I will be too busy to even think about this.
      3.     Make sure the crib meets all safety guidelines. We are using an older crib which means it had to be inspected and check a million times by me (it’s my OCD.) The other thing is we will NOT be using traditional bumper pads. They block the air flow and raise the chance of SIDS.
      4.     No more small objects lying around. Everything that could possibly be picked up by the baby has been removed. There is nothing around the crib that the baby could possibly grab and put in her mouth.
      5.     Car seat, stroller, and a million other gadgets. Who knew that one little baby would need so much stuff? The OCD kicked in again which double checking that everything met safety standards.
      6.     No chemicals! We have switched to all organic cleaning supplies and other products. I don’t want anything harmful in my home at all.
      7.     Talk to the other kids. Preparing our other children was very important, so we took the time to talk with them about the baby. We gave the chance to express their fears, their joys, etc. Also we make a point of spending quality time with each of them so they know they are just as important.
      8.     Stock Up! You would not believe the amount of products you have to buy for everyday. So we began stocking up early.
      9.     Organic or cloth diapers and wipes ONLY! As part of the no chemical rule we decided to use cloth diapers. That was until I learned about Free and Clear from Seventh Generation, but more about that in a little while.
      10.     RELAX!!! The biggest thing was to stop stressing and just relax. Enjoy being pregnant and the moments of peace we have.

Now about those diapers, Seventh Generation has a line of Free and Clear diapers and wipes. What does that mean? It means there are no chemicals such as latex and petroleum-based lotions, no chlorine processing, or no fragrances.  The diapers now have a redesigned core that is more efficient at absorption and uses less processed chlorine free wood pulp. So their impact on the environment is lower. That is a HUGE help for me because as much as I had to admit I am one of those moms that gags at certain smells and sights. I can’t help it and if I am truly honest I wasn’t looking forward to cloth diapers.

Getting pregnant has been a both a stressful and joyful event in our home. I have found that I am more than a little crazy about things. My husband and children are the best in the world and manage to survive all of my “Let’s do this instead” moments.  Knowing that things are done and ready is a huge help and allows me to relax so much more.

I wrote this blog post while participating in the SocialMoms and Seventh Generation blogging program, for a gift card worth $50. For more information on how you can participate, click here.

The Madelaine Chocolate Company Review with Giveaway

CHOCOLATE!!! Honestly what more could a girl say to get your attention? I love chocolate, next to my husband and children it is right up there. Well maybe some days chocolate is a little higher on the list than my hubby but well.... The Madelaine Chocolate Company is a new favorite of mine.

From The Madelaine Chocolate Company Website:
Established in 1949, we’ve dedicated ourselves to perfecting the superior taste and quality of our chocolate. Our belief that everyone should be able to afford great tasting chocolate is what drives our commitment to our customers, and ensures that we never compromise on flavor or quality.

      Testing The Madelaine Chocolate Company:

I received two products to try out and, being me, hid them from the hubby and kids. Most chocolate products never make it to the kitchen when they all know about them. In fact I didn't even write it on my receiving log (long story and a lot of therapy.) The first product was Carmel Popcorn. Ahhhhh caramel, popcorn, and milk chocolate. I
cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this was. I only have 1 complaint: the bag was too small. Give me a huge bucket of it and I would have been in 7th heaven! Just look at that picture, doesn't it just make you want to lick your computer screen?

The second product that I got and tested was the Chocolate Malt Balls. These reminded me of the candy my mom use to eat all the time when I was growing up. It took me back to those days of sneaking them out of the box and stuffing as many as I could into my mouth without choking myself to death. These were creamy and the malt part was anything but hard. I always hate when the malt part is so hard you can't bite into it or too chewy. These were perfect.

      PROS of Madelaine Chocolate Company:

A CONVERSATION WITH KERMIT THE FROG…

Why should audiences see Disney’s “The Muppets”?
It’s funny, upbeat and full oflaughs for everyone… frogs, pigs, bears… even people.
For new fans, it’s a chanceto see the Muppets in action on the big screen. And for old fans, it’s a chanceto get together with old friends… and get a little crazy together.

What is Disney’s “The Muppets” about?
Well, it’s the story of thisincredible Muppet fan named Walter who comes to Hollywood to meet us… and endsup having to get all the Muppets back together to put on a show and save MuppetStudios.

I guess it’s the firstMuppet movie that’s really from the point of view of a fan. Jason Segel, who isa really big Muppet fan in real life, co-wrote the movie. He wanted to showwhat it would be like if the world’s biggest Muppet fan—along with his brotherGary (played by Jason) and friend Mary (played by Amy Adams)—came to Hollywood tomeet us.

What is your role in Disney’s “The Muppets”?
I play me, Kermit the Frog.I’ve played other parts, like Bob Crachit in “A Muppet Christmas Carol” andCaptain Smollett in “Muppet Treasure Island,” but I think “me” is my favoritepart.

Playing a frog named Kermit mightbe type casting, but there aren’t a lot of great parts for amphibians, so I washappy to get the part.

In the movie—and in life, really—I’m a humble frog in Hollywoodwho wants to get back together with his friends and keep entertaining people.

How does your life differ from the characters youplay in the films?
Well, on the big screen. I’m16 feet tall. But in real life, it’s closer to 18 inches. So, I’d have to saythe biggest difference is more height—and better lighting.

Seriously, though, my lifeon screen and off screen is about the same. In real life and on film, I’msurrounded by chaos, craziness, and romantic pigs—just like any other Hollywood star.

Why did you want to take part in this film?
I understand they consideredother actors—George Clooney, Tom Hanks. But in the end, when it comes toplaying short, green and amphibious, I’m still Hollywood’s go-to guy. According to directorJames Bobin, when I read for the role of “me,” I nailed it.

What is the funniest scene in the film?
I like the scene whereeverything goes crazy and no one knows what to do. It’s total mad chaos…..Hmm,come to think of it, that describes most of the movie.

I can’t pick JUST one scene—allthe other scenes would get jealous. But I really do like the big finale. Lotsof singing, dancing, laughing… and, I don’t want to spoil it, but it’s happy, too.

What was it like working opposite Jason Segel?
Jason is not only a greatcomedian, but as a co-writer of the movie, he’s great to work with. If youforget your lines, he can make up new ones.

Jason’s a swell guy. Hereally loved the Muppets before we worked together…and he still loves us after. That’s a true fan. And he has such a fantastic sense of humor. He can findfunny everywhere… even in Fozzie’s act.

      …Chris Cooper?
Chris plays the villain, TexRichman, yet he’s really the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. That’s an incrediblefeat: being a good guy and playing a bad guy. When it comes to acting, it’s notthat easy being mean.

      …Amy Adams?
Amy is incredible. She’s sobeautiful and talented and funny. I’d love to make every movie with her…. butMiss Piggy won’t let me.

She’s also a great actress: shecan sing and dance, and she has three Academy Award® nominations. I’m hopingshe gets an Oscar® for Disney’s “The Muppets.” If not, I’m willing to paintmyself gold and stand on her mantle.

      …Miss Piggy?
I have to say: working withMiss Piggy is always a pleasure. I have to say that ‘cause she makes me say it.

This was a different kind ofmovie for us. Normally, Piggy and I are together right from the start. But in Disney’s“The Muppets,” Miss Piggy is over in Parisand we have to go get her. That was challenging for me. France is toughfor frogs… with legs.

What’s the deal with you and Miss Piggy? Are youstill together?
Miss Piggy and I have aprofessional relationship. I think we’re professionals; she thinks we’re in arelationship.

Actually, Miss Piggy and Iare good friends, but just friends. We like each other a great deal, but we arenot romantically involved—despite her best efforts.

      Describe director James Bobin.
James has a quirky sense ofhumor. Just watch his work on “Flight of the Conchords” and you can see thisisn’t someone who sees the world like everyone else. Not being normal helpswhen you work with the Muppets. He’s a consummate professional—and we’re not,so we really needed him.

What is your advice for up-and-coming frogs/actors?
      Never say croak.

      Fissler Review with Giveaway

Ahhhhh.... Kitchen utensils. I love items for my kitchen, especially if they work. Fissler was not only wonderful enough to provide me product to try out but to also send one for me to giveaway. If you are not familiar with Fissler, well let me introduce you to them. Fissler is a German company who has been making pots and pans (and other items) for more than 160 years. You know they must be doing something right to have stayed around that long.

      From Fissler Website:

If pots could speak, Fissler pots would have quite a lot to say. They would tell us about the era of the “goulash cannon” around the turn of the century, about the first aluminum pots for the electric stove - a sensation in the 1920’s. And they would certainly report on Fissler’s invention of the first stay-cool handles, all-stove base, pressure skillet, and ingenious application of space technology - which resulted in the first nonstick coating for pans. These are just a few examples drawn from the long list of Fissler traditions. They show the broad range of important inventions and developments which turned a small plumbing shop in 1845 into one of the world’s leading and most important cookware manufacturers. One thing is certain - today, each and every pot stands for over 160 years of experience, quality, and ideas. Every single product from Fissler proves - each and every day - that with them, cooking is more energy-efficient, healthful, and delicious.

      TESTING Fissler:

I received a Fissler Black Edition Whisk to try out and I will tell you it's GREAT! One of the great things about the Black Edition products is that they can be used on any surfaces. It doesn't matter what you or bowl you use this handy whisk will get the job done. I also like that it fits well in my hand. I have small hands and finding the right tools is essential. Fissler other collection, The Magic Collection, is just as wonderful. It is a stainless steel collection that would look beautiful hanging in any kitchen.

      Just Tomatoes, ETC!

Getting kids to eat fruits and vegetables can be hard at the best of times. Finding the right blend, the right whatever you call it is important. Not to mention when you go to someone else's house what are you going to do? I want my children to eat good food but we have gone to visit people and all they have is junk. Now I am not against junk food but as a mom I want my kids to get more fruits and veggies. That is where Just Tomatoes ETC! comes in. Just Tomatoes ETC! is dehydrated fruits and vegetables that can be taken anywhere!

      From Just Tomatoes,ETC! Website:
Our products are exactly what they say they are — absolutely nothing has been added!
No Salt, No Sulfur, No Fat, No Sweeteners, No Preservatives It’s the next best thing to eating out of your garden. Our sliced dried tomatoes were our first product when we started our business 15 years ago. Our tomatoes are grown on our family farm in the fertile central valley of California. Many of our products come from neighboring farms.

      TESTING Just Tomatoes, ETC!:

I received a couple of products to try out. They included our favorite  Organic Just Strawberry n' Bananas.  This was the one snack that my children tore into. The strawberries were very fresh tasting and the bananas were anything but mushy. I have had dried fruit before and I will admit that I usually hate it with a passion. However I will say that these tastes just the way they were suppose to taste.

The other product that we received which was a huge hit was the Strawberry Powder. I will admit that I was not sure what to do with this. Leave it to my children to find something to do with it.  they mixed it with their milk to make strawberry milk, put it in the cereal, and added it as a topping for ice cream. I used it in my yogurt and was very pleasantly surprised.

      PROS of Just Tomatoes ETC!:

      • Lots to offer including dried fruit, dried veggies, and powders
      • Everything is organic and good for you.
      • A great way to get kids to eat fruits and veggies. The powders are super easy and fun
