The Adventures of Blue Ocean Bob, Blue Ocean Bob Finds His Purpose by: Brooks Olbrys is the first in a several book series. It follows a young boy, Bob, as he attempts to find his purpose in life. Bob lives on an island and while things are wonderful he feels there must be a greater purpose to his life. He is accompanied by his friend Xena, a hummingbird. Bob meets a dolphin named Al and then meets a sea turtle named Doc who helps Bob realize what his passion is and discover his purpose. Bob's purpose is to protect the sea and all the life in it.
Brooks Olbrys has written a fabulous story that all children should read. It teaches them to never give up on finding their purpose or realizing their dreams. The book is vividly illustrated by Aleksandra Beaucher.I enjoy that the book is going to be a series as I feel that Brooks Olbrys has more wonderful messages to share. This is one of those books that you can feel safe and secure giving to your children and never having to worry about.
