If you are looking for a good scare your pants off read, then this is the book. I usually don't read werewolf stories but this one was great! I love the hillbilly take on it all.This book keep me on my toes from beginning to end. It is a grown-up read, which is refreshing from all the "I'm so in love with a werewolf or vampire" teenage books of late.
